CANTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Canton Elementary School is located at 365 Van Buren Street, Canton, MS and is one of 4 elementary schools in Canton Public School District.
It is a public school that serves approximately 420 students in grades K-5. It is made up of approximately 90.5% African American, 9% Hispanic and .05% Caucasian. All students participate in the free and reduced lunch program.
The administrative staff consists of a Principal and an Instructional Specialist. There are approximately 30 certified teaching staff members, 3 full-time Interventionists, Lab Assistants, Librarian, Counselor, ELL Tutor, Spanish and Physical Education teachers, Inclusion and Special Education teachers.
CES participates in the State & Federal School-wide Program.
