Who We Are
Canton Elementary School (CES) is located in Canton, Mississippi, and is one of four elementary schools in the Canton Public School District. The school serves approximately 420 students in grades K-5, with a student population that is 64% African American, 33% Hispanic, and 1% Caucasian. All students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program.
The school staff includes a Principal, Assistant Principal, about 30 certified teachers, 3 full-time Interventionists, and additional support staff such as Instructional Assistants, a Librarian, Counselor, ELL Tutor, Spanish teacher, PE teachers, Inclusion, and Special Education teachers.
CES participates in the State and Federal School-wide Program.
